ALESSI MUTANTS takes place in Vienna with 2 visits to the Alessi
headquarters in Crusinallo, Italy. It explores and reinvents the
relationship between architecture and industrial object, focusing on a
series of small-scale furniture-object studies.
IMPRINTPROCESSES is a collaboration between Urban Strategies and the Institute of Architecture´s DDPLAB in order to instruct participants to produce, calibrate, operate and hack their own 3D printers. Special attention is given to the individual printers´ behaviors. The summerschool relates experiments and their emergent physical manifestations with the material processes of the urban fabric.
